Which draw games have limited prize amount?
There are limited total prize amounts for certain categories with Banco, Banco spécial, Jour de paye, Triplex, Astro, Lotto Poker, Sprinto and Québec 49 (for the 5/6+ bonus category only). For example, the maximum prize amount for Banco is limited to $4 million per draw, for each category.
The limited payable amount for a draw is likely to be reached when the winning selection is held by several people.
The maximum payable amount for each game is written on the back of the selection slips. This information and more, including the prize structures and the chances of winning, can also be found on the pages related to each products.
With TRIPLEX, because numbers can appear more than once on each of the three (3) horizontal lines, you can win 2, 3 or even 4 times on a given participation.
You win multiple prizes when your participation contains a combination of the different possible wins, such as on one, two or three horizontal lines, plus a Mix and Match win.
Example of a double win:
- If three of your numbers in one horizontal line match the numbers drawn, you win $3.
- In addition, if six of your numbers, located anywhere within the three horizontal lines of your participation, are identical to those drawn, you win $20. That’s the fun of the Mix and Match option!
- As a result, your total winnings would be $23
