MANDATE

Mandate

Fully aligned with Loto-Québec’s mission, Ingenio’s mandate includes:

  • offering the most entertaining games possible
  • updating the game offering
  • maintaining its leadership in innovation
  • continuously developing its competencies
  • managing and redefining innovation

Ingenio is actively involved in R&D of new generations of games (multimedia lotteries, derivative products, casino and video lottery terminals, etc.) and modes of commercialization in order to meet the expectations of future generations of consumers.

Research and development is a relatively new area in the games of chance and gambling industry. Loto-Québec is one of the few lottery corporations worldwide to have established an entity devoted solely to this purpose. Ingenio not only conducts applied research, which leads to new products and patents, but it is also involved in basic research aimed at better understanding and mastering certain phenomena such as game dynamics, the multitude of technical and business platforms, as well as interrelations between different forms of games.
