A Centre Focused on Promoting Responsible Gaming
A first in Québec and an initiative of the Fondation Mise sur toi, Au Centre du Hasard is a gaming information centre that opened in February 2006 at the Casino de Montréal.
It gives visitors an opportunity to learn and reflect upon their gaming behaviour and habits. Staffed by specialists in the field of games of chance and gambling, the new facility provides demonstration gaming devices to help people tell the difference between skill-testing games and games of chance.
Between the time it opened in February 2006 and December 31 of that same year, the gaming information centre located at the Casino de Montréal has welcomed over 24,500 visitors.
Another Au Centre du Hasard opened in June 2007 at the Casino du Lac-Leamy.
