Loto-Québec Recognized for the Quality of its Building and Environmental Management
Montréal, June 8, 2007 - Loto-Québec was honoured at the 2007-2008 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Gala, which recognizes excellence
demonstrated by individuals and buildings within the commercial real estate sector. More specifically, the Corporation received
the Office Building of the Year Award in the "100,000 - 249,999 Square Feet" category for its Montréal Multifunctional Complex,
as well as the Earth Award for its building located on Grande-Allée Street West in Québec City. Moreover, the Corporation
has earned four new Go Green Plus certifications.

The Office Building of the Year Award in the "100,000 - 249,999 Square Feet" category earned by the Multifunctional Complex
at this year's 10th edition of the BOMA Gala is the most prestigious distinction presented within the North American commercial
real estate sector. The prize acknowledges excellence in real estate management by recognizing quality of operations, commitment
to conserving resources, and the environmental awareness and respect of building owners and managers.
Earth Award
After becoming one of the first four buildings in Québec to receive Go Green Plus certification in 2006, Loto-Québec's Québec City office has been further recognized with the 2007-2008 Earth Award. This
prize aims to promote awareness of the role played by each and every individual in dealing with environmental issues. It also
reinforces the importance of effective management approaches and communication, and distinguishes buildings that have taken
environmental considerations into the highest regard.
New Go Green Plus Certifications
In addition to the Québec City office's certification of last year, four other Loto-Québec buildings - the Laval office, the
Multifunctional Complex on Bridge Street, the building on Pierre-de-Coubertin Street, and the Montréal head office building
- have also recently received Go Green Plus certification from BOMA Québec. Launched in September 2006, this second certification program encompasses the 10 Go Green program criteria, along with others that allow for a more in-depth assessment of a building's environmental management practices.
"Loto-Québec was the first Crown Corporation to have obtained Go Green certification for all of its buildings," underlined Mr. Alain Cousineau, Corporation Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer. "The Go Green Plus certifications and Office Building of the Year and Earth Awards are a reflection of our firm commitment to excellence in
the environmental management of our buildings, and they illustrate the high level of awareness and involvement of our employees
in promoting superior environmental practices. Moreover, these distinctions are the product of the Corporation's overall dedication
to sustainable development."
Winners of Building of the Year and Earth Awards become eligible for consideration at the national level of the BOMA competition.
This year's national winners will be announced next September at the BOMA Canada convention in Toronto.
All 10 of Loto-Québec's real estate holdings now hold Go Green certification, which is awarded by BOMA to building owners and managers who have implemented excellent practices aimed at
protecting the environment.
