The Repérage Sales Exhibit Program

An acquisitions program created specifically for areas outside major centres

Promoting artists from outside the province's major population centres and acquiring a diverse assortment of artworks: two very important missions in the eyes of Loto‑Québec. As a means to support artists located throughout Québec and enrich the body of works contained in its collection, Loto-Québec launched its sales exhibits program in 1994.

Known today as Repérage, the program tours the areas outside the province’s major urban centres in order to shine the spotlight on talented regional artists. Loto-Québec supports museums and exhibition spaces located in outlying regions by organizing Repérage events, sales exhibits during which the curator of Loto-Québec’s collection can acquire works by local artists.

In addition to offering a window of opportunity to these artists, the events encourage other businesses to support local talent.
